Our Commitment

Independent Pathways Care Ltd is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of ability or technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard and continuously work to improve the accessibility and usability of our site.

What We Have Done

We have taken the following steps to make our website accessible:

  • Keyboard navigation — All interactive elements on the site can be accessed and operated using a keyboard alone.

  • Alternative text — Where images are used, we provide meaningful alternative text descriptions. Decorative elements are marked as such.

  • ARIA attributes — Where appropriate, we use ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) attributes to improve the experience for assistive technology users.
  • Readable fonts — We use clear, legible fonts at appropriate sizes, and text can be resized using browser settings without loss of content or functionality.

Known Limitations

While we strive to make the entire website accessible, there may be some areas that are not yet fully optimised. Known limitations include:

  • Some placeholder image areas do not yet contain real images with full descriptive alt text. These will be updated as imagery is added to the site.
  • The contact form is currently a layout placeholder and is not yet connected to a backend service.

We are actively working to address these items and will update this statement as improvements are made.
