What Is Supported Living?
Supported living enables individuals to live in their own home — whether a private tenancy, shared accommodation, or a council placement — with the tailored support they need to thrive. Unlike residential care, the person retains control over their own home and lifestyle, with our team providing the right level of assistance.
At Independent Pathways Care, we deliver long-term support packages that are built around the individual. Our goal is always to promote independence, develop life skills, and ensure people feel safe, respected, and empowered in their own environment.
Flexible Packages Tailored to You
Every individual's needs are different. Our supported living packages are designed to be as flexible as the people we support.
Flexible packages
Our packages range from a few hours of targeted daily support to round-the-clock, 24/7 care — whatever is needed to keep the individual safe and progressing.
1:1 and Higher Ratios
We provide dedicated one-to-one support as standard, with the ability to increase staffing ratios for individuals with more complex or higher-risk needs.
Own Home or Placement
Whether the individual lives in their own tenancy, shared supported accommodation, or a council placement, we deliver consistent, high-quality care on-site.
Long-Term Commitment
We focus on building lasting relationships. Our support is designed for the long term, with care plans that evolve as the individual grows and their needs change.
Shift-Based Staffing
Our support workers cover long shifts — including days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays — to ensure continuity and reliability around the clock.
Consistency of Staff
We prioritise matching individuals with a consistent team of support workers who understand their needs, preferences, and routines.
